Check your email for campus events
One of the advantages of a smaller campus is the ability to interact with students, faculty and staff on a more personal level. With fun events like powderpuff football (with students vs. staff), Halloween costume parties and etiquette classes, there is never a shortage of fun activities.Although the campus is littered with flyers and posters, the primary source of information is right at your fingertips. Checking your student email account will not only keep you up to speed with important class announcements but will also keep you plugged into what’s going on around campus.
Spend a little time outdoors
If you missed out on a major campus event, there's still plenty to do on campus. Gather a few friends and spend a little time enjoying the beautiful campus. There’s a challenging disc golf course and an amazing walking trail where students gather together to exercise.Attend a home football game
If you don’t mind taking a short road trip, grab a few close friends or family members and cheer on the best football team in the nation. Attending a home football game is the ultimate expression of school spirit and pride. The experience in itself is worth the travel time.— Candice Snodgrass
